Roles & Responsibilities:



  • Adding new employees to the system of the General Organization of Social Insurance (GOSI), crossing out the names of those who leave the institution, and keeping track of the monthly due payment (employees' subscription fees).

  • Managing current programs offered by the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) or TAQAT and registering the University or its employees in new suitable programs.

  • Uploading the files of the monthly wages to the Ministry of Labor (MOL) system, keeping track of the Saudization status (Netaqat), issuing annual work permits for non-Saudi employees, and processing online services for the employees under the sponsorship of the University (sponsorship transfer, changing job title, etc … ).

  • Renewing all the University's official governmental certificates and documents (GOSI-AlZakat- JCCI, etc…)

  • Issuing and renewing the residency card of employees under the sponsorship of the University's sponsorship in due time.

  • Arranging for non-Saudi employees to get various types of visas (Work visa, Visit visa, Exit-Reentry visa, Exit visa, Family visa and Dependent visa).

  • Advising employees about any new and important governmental processes, procedures and/or rules.

  • Following up with the University expeditor on completing all governmental tasks in a timely manner.

  • Updating the Government Relations forms upon request.

  • Answering employees' queries and serving as an adviser for international employees in matters related to governmental processes / procedures.

  • Facilitating flight reservations for visitors of the University and the employees' annual and business leaves.

  • Making hotel reservation for the employees' business trips and DAH for the University visitors.

  • Participating in organising various social activities for the employees.

  • Effectively applying changes related to future requirements in technology, systems, processes, etc…

  • Effectively managing the team, solving problems and issues and seizing opportunities.

  • Performing other duties as assigned to assist the Government Relations Office to achieve its mission.
