SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
Ensuring that all IT end users utilize the suit of Jotun IT applications to
the fullest by consistent proactive engagement with the business, running
training/consultation/support and keeping the lights on (availability of IT
resources) to drive efficiency in the way of work and safeguarding Jotun
penguins from cyber risks by complying to Group IT policies and standards in
the local companies.

Qualifications

Academic degree (Bachelors in Information Technology).
‎1-‎3 years of relevant experience
Good command of verbal and written English and Arabic languages
Duties and responsibilities
Assist and support end-users by trouble-shooting IT systems and software,
registering and follow-up on IT service tickets, provide training to ensure
that Digital IT tools are used effectively and becomes a source of competitive
advantage
Conduct day-to-day IT operations by ensuring availability of IT services and
applications to provide seamless connectivity to users. Perform regular status
checks and coordinate with service vendors for support.
Ensure high availability of internet connectivity, LAN/WAN for business
applications with acceptable latency within internal and external network
available by coordinating with vendors/service providers.
Run improvement initiatives locally/regionally moving users to be more digital
than manual in the way of work by conducting trainings, developing/integrating
new solutions
Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI & Power Apps is an added advantage.
Be responsible to ensure relevant maintenance contracts and licenses are
maintained and conduct regular reviews to ensure we are compliant.
Responsible for all incidents, events and service requests that are assigned
to be resolved and attended to within the service levels dictated in the End-
to-End Framework by regular KPI reporting and monitoring
Ensure that cost implications or local risks are flagged appropriately while
running a global, regional or local campaigns or projects by working closely
with the Local / Regional IT Manager to ensure that the best fit is found to
compliment the requirements.
Provide IT inputs to various factory/office projects in the local company and
to make sure required IT infrastructure is in place as per business
requirements.
