Job details

In Collaboration with Supply Chain Management (SCM) Division leads and
analyses products utilization driving effective and efficient procurement and
utilization of medical equipment and supplies. Contributes to budgeting,
requirements definition, product evaluation, procurement and disposals of
supplies, furniture and equipment.


Essential Responsibilities and Duties


  • Collects and analyses data from SCM, Nursing Affairs, and Clinical Engineering. Prepares, utilization and purchasing reports, including summary of information.

  • Leads and coordinates the collection of data related to product usage.

  • Provides leadership in product evaluations and procurement, and monitors outcomes.

  • Develops and analyses monthly utilization and expense reports for high cost or high volume supplies and others as required.

  • Leads and coordinates the achievement of cost efficiency savings across Nursing Affairs. Identifies and achieves cost-containment goals within assigned area of responsibility.

  • Works in partnership with SCM, technical departments and Nursing Affairs, to achieve clinical, financial and quality objectives across Nursing Affairs.

  • Promotes a safety culture by ensuring the integrity of products/supplies and overseas recall of products/supplies as necessary.

  • Participates in Nursing Affairs supply and equipment budget development by providing costing information, analysis of expense reports and the forecasting of required funds at divisional level.

  • Collects evidence and data to support introducing new products to the Hospital, and their impact.

  • Recommends process and/or system changes in the management of supplies in Nursing Affairs to achieve cost effective resource utilization and clinical effectiveness.

  • Participates in Performance Improvement activities as assigned. Contributes to special projects/assignments linked to nursing strategic priorities and professional practice model.

  • Supports the implementation of Nursing Affairs ' annual strategic plan.

  • Follow all Hospital related policies and procedures.

  • Participates in self and other's education, training and development, as applicable.


Education

Bachelor 's Degree in Business Administration, Hospital Administration or
other related discipline is required.


Experience Required

Three (‎3) years of related experience is required.

Saudi National Only.
