recommendations that help them make the most out of their free time.
YOUR DAY TO DAY: -
* Coordinates, supervises and executes the prompt efficient and courteous service of Food and Beverage to assigned areas/stations.
* Greets guests at table, presents menu, suggesting food and beverages and answers questions regarding the menu.
* Takes orders and relays same to waiter or directly to kitchen.
* Ensure that menu items, daily specials are available from the kitchen.
* Ensures that service is to established standards and efficient and that orders are properly executed.
* Ensures that service side station is fully stocked and in clean condition at the commencement of service.
* Ensures that tables are set up in accordance with established standards and all equipment clean and in good condition.
* Attends to guest's complaints and requests, refers same to Coffee Shop Manager/ Head Waiter, when necessary, records guest comments and activities in supervisors log book.
* Ensures that personal grooming of self and state of uniform is to required standard.
* Ensures that guest bills are correctly compiled and presented to guests in the established manner and correctly paid.
* Complies with Hotel's Health, Safety & Hygiene policy.
* Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
What WE NEED FROM YOU:-
* Reports directly to Restaurant Manager.
* Supervises and directs the activities of Food & Beverages.
* Interacts and cooperates with all colleagues to be involved.
* Interacts, cooperates with hotel departments as appropriate.
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and work-related
experience.
Experience
Typically ‎2-‎5 years F&B Captain / Supervisor role or related experience.
Physical Requirement
* Capable to perform work during rush periods.
