KEY ACTIVITIES:
* To receive from the Instrumentation Maintenance Specialist written work orders or verbal instructions necessary for the performance of the works
* To consult, if necessary, technical documentation concerning the equipment to be maintained
* To draw from the warehouse materials and tools necessary for the performance of the works
* To contact the Instrumentation Maintenance Specialist for the intervention details and authorisation to start
* To undertake any other duties, which he may be called upon by his superior
* To inform his superior in case of difficulties and to ask for instructions to overcome them
* To keep in touch with the Plant Operators for exchange of information on the equipment to be maintained
* To carry out the following activities on Instrumentation devices:
* Normal maintenance operations
* Periodical and or on request controls
* New jobs and minor modifications
* Emergency intervention for power breakdown
* Perform the PLC maintenance in the plant:
* To check integrity of hardware and components
* To check performance of systems and component parts
* To check status and functionality of ancillary equipment
* To check PLC functions
* To test and to calibrate PLC loops
* To test and to control PLC programming processing units
* To assist for the practical training of other technicians assigned to his area
* To assist vendors technicians for special maintenance works, whenever necessary
* To keep his working area at a good housekeeping level
* To weekly report to his direct superior
