Job Description

you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends
on Systems Administrator Advisor joining our team to perform all aspects of
CREW systems troubleshooting and repair to include communications-electronics
and EW systems.
The role will be as a Counter Radio-Controlled Improvised Explosive
Device(RCIED) Electronic Warfare (CREW) Technician and Radio Repair Technician
to work at the front end of the delivery of our operation. This position
requires individuals who are self-motivated, suitably experienced, qualified,
and able to follow instructions clearly but also able to make command
decisions on the spot in order to achieve the aims of the organization.
Specific systems may include AN/VLQ-‎12 CREW Duke system, vehicle-mounted Duke
V2, Warlock jammers, Duke V3 vehicle-mounted jammer, AN/PRC-‎148 Multiband
Inter/Intra Team Radio (MBITR, AN/PRC-‎152 Multiband Handheld Radio, N/PRC-152A
Wideband Networking Handheld Radio, AN/PRC-117G(V)‎1(C) Multiband Networking
Manpack Radio, AN/PRC- 117F Multiband Manpack Radio, A-‎3575 ‎75-watt multiband
amplifier, and A-‎350 ‎50-watt multiband amplifier.
This position can require the conduct of work in the outdoors with a potential
exposure to extreme climatic conditions including frequent dust storms, and
high temperatures - up to 130F degrees in the summer months.


HOW A Communications Electronics FSR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
* Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems
* Perform operational test and return to service checks.
Read and interpret schematic and engineering drawings and diagrams.
* Develop integration plans and perform hardware integrations.
* Perform troubleshooting, Fault Isolation, PMCS, and return to service of assigned systems and subsystems. Perform replacement and repair for all components associated with systems.
* Perform the calibration, operation, maintenance, modification, testing, troubleshooting and repair of systems of a highly complex nature.
* Operate and manage a wide range of equipment, including automated benches, real-time oscilloscopes, pulse generators and power supplies.
* Execute set-up, collaboration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.
* Train personnel at the installation site in proper use of highly specialized electronic equipment.
* Work with minimal supervision, documents maintenance tasks via local or web- based reporting system, provides system functional briefings to customer and supervisor.
* Maintain strong attention to detail.
* Maintain a positive attitude and work as a member of a cohesive team as well as independently.
* Interact with all levels of the organization in a professional, diplomatic, and tactful way.
* Multi-task efficiently and work in a fast pace environment on multiple projects.
* Contacts and coordinates with internal departments for parts as required ensuring optimal equipment operation.
* May be required to go TDY to multiple locations within SWA.


WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
* Must have an active U.S. Government SECRET clearance.
* Required Experience: ‎5+ years of related experience, BS or equivalent Military/Technical Experience. One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education.
* Ability to successfully complete CRC (medically/physically) and deploy.
* Valid driver's license.
* Knowledge of radio frequency (RF) theory and principle, and the effects of CREW systems operating in an electronic countermeasures environment.
* Experience with Land Mobile Radio (LMR) systems. Preference with experience Harris/Thales on trunked radio systems.
* Experience with RF test equipment.
* Ability to meet internal paperwork requirements.
