Our Loss Prevention team works across all divisions, brands and geographies,
to protect profit and reduce losses. Working pro-actively, following lines of
investigation as well as providing insight and recommendations to divisions,
our loss prevention team works across brands and regions giving them valuable
exposure to a range of sectors and environments that ultimately deliver bottom
line value to the business.
Role Profile:
Support the team in driving overall strategy, and delivery of initiatives to
protect the profit and assets of the business. The analyst will support the
fraud investigations teams by conducting in-depth analysis of exception
reporting systems.
The below Key Performance Areas include but are not limited to:
* Compile and review data collected from various sources.
* Review transactions in a manual review queue for fraudulent behaviour and identify trends.
* Provide fraud rule recommendations based on data and trends to improve fraud detection.
* Good understanding of fraud risks, and risk management processes in order to identify and monitor fraud risks in the business.
* Respond to real-time fraud attacks.
* Responsible for producing reports in the absence of Senior Analyst.
* Creation and maintenance of Salesforce reports, dashboards & data.
* Maintain metrics for measuring the success of fraud detection/prevention strategies.
* Maintain high level of ethics and confidentiality.
* Foster teamwork and collaborative environment to meet objectives.
* Must be able to work evenings, holidays and weekends.
* Additional tasks may be added as determined by senior Analyst.
Knowledge:
* eCommerce
* Loss Prevention
* Salesforce/ Analytical tool
Experience:
* Excel (Formula/Format/Pivot) essential.
* Working with eCommerce, IT and Finance.
* Loss prevention.
Skills:
* Excellent time management.
* Interacts well with all levels and in a team environment.
* Strong research skills including experience with online search tools.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook.
* Analytical and communication skills.
* Able to multitask and complete projects on time, often on a tight deadline.
* Possess the ability to work independently while supporting a team environment.
* Ability to follow directions and apply proper policies, procedures and guidelines.
* Attention to detail and high concern for data accuracy.
