Neded: Electrical and Instrumentation Technician - QTY ‎1
Position Overview:
As an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician in the oil and gas industry,
you will be at the forefront of ensuring the reliability and performance of
our critical electrical and instrumentation systems. Your role will be vital
in maintaining our commitment to operational efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Engineering Consulting in Oil & Gas:
o Review and approve Invitation to Bid (ITB) including tender conditions and
specifications.
o Provide guidance to the Design Engineers and ensure the services are
implemented within the established cost, time, and scope
o Reviews and checks calculations, designs, new or modified drawings,
materials/equipment specifications/data sheets prepared in-house or by
engineering Consultants/Contractor from completeness, accuracy, and conformity
to design standards and codes
o Follow the applicable procedures for signing off on designing verification
sheets
o Ensure compliance with planned man hours in the actual execution of work
o Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential issues before
they escalate
o Review and approve/draw from Consultants, Contractor, Vendors, and 3rd
Partiy inspectors
o Prepare technical specifications & relevant drawing
o Prepare and release material requisitions
o Perform technical evaluation of offers and forward technical recommendations
for order placement
o Reviews of vendor documents/drawing/test procedures & certificates /
operating manuals/design books/engineering data books, etc in accordance with
the project design basis/control philosophy/specification
Documentation:
o Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, calibration results,
and equipment performance.
o Generate reports summarizing work completed, issues addressed, and
recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of ‎15 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation
maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and
instrumentation diagrams.
• Strong knowledge of oil & gas industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Familiarity with PLC programming and control systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Education:
• B.Sc degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field.
## MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS ##
- Must have valid Kuwait driving license
- Education level in current izanamal should read as bachelor - : البكالوريوس
أو ما يعادلها
- Indian male applicants preferred
- Must have valid ‎18 shoon ikama or ‎18 GP ikama
