Safety Officer
Objective:
Responsible for ensuring the overall safety of patients, employees, visitors,
and vendors, both inside and outside the premises of Kuwait Hospital.
Commitment to occupational health and safety (OHS) and environmental health
and safety, incident reporting, and risk management as required and observed
Detailed Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure the organization's effective implementation of occupational health and
safety management programs.
Respond to fire alarms and other regular patient, staff, vendor, and visitor's
safety activities.
Regularly implement updates, monitoring, and documentation of the status of
flammable materials and smoke/heat detectors in the clinical and
administrative areas. Monitoring PPM (planned preventive maintenance) related
to all non-medical equipment and the fire (fire and smoke) safety system with
Kuwait Hospital.
Monitor irregularities and report them to the proper authority. Maintain a
logbook for accidents, incidents, and near misses.
Regular inspection of the internal and external environment of Kuwait
Hospital. Yearly risk assessments and action planning related to FMS (Facility
Maintenance Service) and follow-up (in collaboration with Operations and
Quality).
Liaise with the government or relevant authorities in conformance with safety
standards.
Conduct training for drills and evacuations as per schedule.
Authorized to stop work or remove the workforce from a work situation of
immediate or imminent exposure to danger or a hazard if they consider it a
reasonable risk to the safety or health of themselves, their colleagues, and
the public.
Communicate with peers, co-workers, and supervisors.
Professional attitude and aptitude towards communication Keep in mind that the
clinics are represented in every communication to internal or external
customers.
Encourage multi-disciplinary teamwork.
Implement the hospital’s policies and procedures.
Inform the Chief Quality Officer (CQO) of progress through monthly reporting.
Performs additional tasks as and when assigned by the line manager to ensure
departmental objectives are met.
Obstetrics and Gynecology Registrar
About the job
Kuwait Hospital – Kuwait is seeking an experienced OBGYN Registrar who has
gained an exceptional reputation and is passionate about providing high
standards of patient safety and care.
The role will be based in Kuwait (GCC/Middle East), and reports to the HOD of
Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM). The OBGYN Registrar will work closely with the
Medical Team and their Heads of Department, including mutual cooperation with
the Chief Nursing Officer and the Nursing Team.
You will be responsible for testing, diagnosing, treating, and monitoring
diseases and issues related to women’s health, and providing medical counsel
and support to women during pregnancy and childbirth.
To be Kuwait Hospital’s OBGYN Registrar, you will have:
A Medical Degree, PhD, MD, MBBS or equivalent
‎5+ years of current/recent OBGYN experience within a recognized healthcare
provider
Basic Obstetrics Ultrasound Skills
Excellent English (verbal and written) language skills.
Evidence of working within a dynamic, rapidly expanding healthcare provider is
preferred
