Restaurant Receiver
Job Overview:
We are looking for a Restaurant Receiver to join our team and be responsible
for receiving and inspecting food and beverage deliveries, ensuring that all
products meet our quality standards, and accurately recording all inventory.
The ideal candidate must have excellent organizational skills, be detail-
oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Receive, inspect, and accept or reject all deliveries of food and beverages,
ensuring they meet quality standards.
• Accurately record all inventory and communicate any discrepancies or issues
to management.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate supply for daily
operations.
• Follow food safety guidelines and regulations.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of
ingredients and supplies.
• Communicate effectively with vendors, management, and staff.
• Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role in a restaurant or
hospitality environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Proficient in basic computer skills.
