Job Purpose
The Production Manager is responsible for the production operation and for
establishing the production policies and procedures. The Production Manager is
in charge of meeting production goals, and should foster a well-trained and
motivated staff.
Principal Accountabilities
Directs and coordinates production operations within the factory policies and
procedures.
Establishes with the coordination of the Plant Manager the production
strategies of the factory.
Ensures that the production goals are met and that production is cost
effective.
Implements the rules of hygiene and safety throughout the production areas.
Conducts LEAN manufacturing in the plant.
Coordinates with the R&D; and Quality Assurance to set standards and develop
new products.
Ensures that Quality Control standards are being abided in the plant.
Implements improvement activities through change management process and best
practices.
Liaises and confers with different department heads (R&D;, Maintenance, QC/QA,
Sales, Franchise, Purchasing, Admin, HR, Finance, and Logistics)
Optimizes resource utilization by the implementation of an effective
production organization.
Assures production volumes as requested by the sales and operation
departments.
Ensures that health and safety guidelines are followed.
Coaches and develop resources to meet business’s objectives.
Motivates team members and periodically evaluate their performance.
Strives to reduce overhead charges and overtime.
Develops with subordinates SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) for all
production operations.
Manages the adherence to prescribed procedures to ensure the best quality is
produced
consistently.
Evaluates competencies of subordinates and provide leadership and development
as required to achieve objectives.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Bachelor of engineering degree in Food Science ,Mechanical ,Electrical ,or
industrial or a similar discipline.
Ten years of proven experience in similar positions with reputable bakeries.
Advanced knowledge of Manufacturing Processes and food safety.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. and ability to liaise with
various support groups.
Good oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
Computer literacy
Must be open to working during different shifts
Physical Requirements of the job
Work might involve moderate exposure to high temperatures, dust, fumes, smoke,
and/or loud noises.
Work environment involves potential exposure to hazards or physical risks,
which requires following basic safety precautions.

يتواصل ويتشاور مع رؤساء الأقسام المختلفة (البحث والتطوير، والصيانة، ومراقبة
الجودة/ضمان الجودة، والمبيعات، والامتياز، والمشتريات، والإدارة، والموارد
البشرية، والمالية، والخدمات اللوجستية).
تحسين استخدام الموارد من خلال تنفيذ منظمة إنتاج فعالة.
يضمن أحجام الإنتاج حسب طلب أقسام المبيعات والتشغيل.
يضمن اتباع إرشادات الصحة والسلامة.
المدربين وتطوير الموارد لتحقيق أهداف العمل.
- تحفيز أعضاء الفريق وتقييم أدائهم بشكل دوري.
تسعى جاهدة لتقليل الرسوم العامة والعمل الإضافي.
يطور مع المرؤوسين SOP (إجراءات التشغيل القياسية) لجميع عمليات الإنتاج.
يدير الالتزام بالإجراءات المقررة لضمان إنتاج أفضل جودة
باستمرار.
تقييم كفاءات المرؤوسين وتوفير القيادة والتطوير كما هو مطلوب لتحقيق الأهداف.
المعرفة والمهارات والخبرة
درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة في علوم الأغذية أو الميكانيكية أو الكهربائية أو
الصناعية أو تخصص مماثل.
عشر سنوات من الخبرة المثبتة في مناصب مماثلة مع المخابز ذات السمعة الطيبة.
المعرفة المتقدمة بعمليات التصنيع وسلامة الأغذية.
ممتازة الشخصية ومهارات الاتصال.
والقدرة على الاتصال بمجموعات الدعم المختلفة.
مهارات تواصل شفهية وكتابية جيدة باللغتين الإنجليزية والعربية.
محو الأمية الحاسوبية
يجب أن يكون مفتوحًا للعمل خلال نوبات عمل مختلفة
المتطلبات المادية للوظيفة
قد يتضمن العمل التعرض المعتدل لدرجات الحرارة المرتفعة والغبار والأبخرة والدخان
و/أو الضوضاء العالية.
