About the job
On behalf of our client in Kuwait, who is in the F&B; industry, we are seeking
a highly skilled and motivated Project and Maintenance Manager to oversee the
successful execution of projects and ensure the seamless operation and
maintenance of the facilities. The potential candidate should possess a strong
background in project management, technical expertise, and a commitment to
maintaining high standards in the F&B; sector
Responsibilities
Take responsibility for project milestone delivery, from planning through
execution to completion.
Compile and present complex technical reports for consideration by
stakeholders.
Supervise project documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Led the Operations & Maintenance team in testing, monitoring, installation,
and troubleshooting of electricity transmission or distribution equipment,
auxiliaries, energy storage, control systems, and substations.
Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for new restaurant construction,
renovations, and other projects.
Undertake routine preventative maintenance and respond promptly to reactive
maintenance requirements, including minor unit and common area maintenance
(e.g., servicing taps, changing light globes, and minor repairs).
Contribute to the development of long-term maintenance strategies and
supervise the activities of contractors and tradespersons.
Prevent unexpected machine breakdowns and maximize the availability and
reliability of all operating equipment.
Keep equipment and operating systems healthy to eliminate potential safety
issues and ensure high operating standards.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in project management and maintenance, preferably in the
F&B; industry.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
Strong technical background in electricity transmission, distribution, control
systems, and facility maintenance.
Excellent project management skills, including the ability to develop plans,
timelines, and budgets.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance strategies and reactive maintenance
response.
Leadership skills to supervise and guide the Operations & Maintenance team.
Effective communication and presentation skills for stakeholders at various
levels.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Commitment to high safety and operating standards.
