Counter Sales Advisor
About the job
Job Overview
This position is responsible for attending to the customer’s parts needs, uses
Available system resources and software, parts catalogues and all other parts
publications to identify correct part numbers. Provides friendly and quick
customer parts services to customers through all sales channels (over the
counter, phone, & PCC On line orders). Issues proper and accurate parts sales
invoices and ensures full customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Attends all walk-in parts customers over parts sales counter providing them
necessary services for their parts needs.
Promotes parts sales by utilizing his selling skills & Parts product
knowledge.
Good knowledge of Microsoft office package.
Uses CAT parts information system (SIS) & other parts suppliers parts Portals
to identify correct part numbers for customers.
Effectively Uses Dealer Business System (DBS) utilizing all related
functionalities to process parts sales accurately.
Records all parts sales transactions as per business needs, including Lost
sales transactions.
Prepares parts list quotations for customers and follows-up with customers.
Upon request, Prepares recommended parts lists and coordinates with Service
team & Parts operation supervisor / BPM before finalization.
Responds to all inquiries on telephone courteously and cautiously.
Records accurate customers details on sales transactions & invoices including
all necessary supporting documents as per countries rules & regulations.
Processes customers’ parts orders and coordinate with warehouse staff on any
special delivery or pick up instructions.
Ensures customers sign all credit invoices and attaches related customer’s
purchase orders and forwards to accounts.
Confirms Customers BO Parts orders processing and updates customer on BO
status and expected delivery time when needed.
Maintains up-to-date records of all parts modification’s catalogues,
Reviews and discusses the environmental aspects and related actual or
potential environmental impacts associated with the work.
Contributes to the effectiveness of the Quality, Environmental and
Occupational Health & Safety management system “QHSE”.
Performs other parts sales related tasks as maybe required.
Qualifications
Diploma or high school in a related field.
Minimum of ‎3 - ‎5 years of similar work experience in parts sales and
operation.
Must have general knowledge of the functions and technique of selling.
Good communications skills

Skills, Knowledge & Ability
Thorough knowledge of spare ad products knowledge.
Ability to work under pressure and to organize daily work activities.
Good knowledge of Microsoft office package.
Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with customers and
colleagues.
Ability to identify requested parts from manufacturer references (suppliers
parts systems & portals and other related sites etc.);
Mature with a pleasant personality.
