Storage Engineer
About the job

more secure. We are currently seeking a Storage Engineer to join our dynamic
team of over ‎500+ professionals spanning ‎30+ locations worldwide!
The role is available remotely or in the office (depending on location) in the
following countries: Poland, Cyprus, Serbia, Georgia, Lithuania, Moldova,
Armenia, Romania, Portugal, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan.
What you will do:
As a Storage Engineer, you’ll join a team you can always rely on for feedback
and continuous professional growth.
Your Responsibilities:
Operating and optimizing SDS platforms, including Ceph, Linstor, and Lustre-
based systems.
Deploying, configuring, and rigorously testing SDS solutions in both
production and staging environments, promptly addressing incidents and
emergencies.
Crafting and implementing comprehensive monitoring strategies for SDS storage
systems to ensure peak performance.
Exceeding SLA (Service Level Agreement) requirements for specific SDS
deployments.
Collaborating closely with the infrastructure team to design and implement
efficient backup mechanisms.
We expect you to have:
A solid intermediate level of Linux proficiency (with ‎4–‎6 years of
experience).
Proven track record of successfully managing production Ceph clusters while
meeting SLA commitments.
In-depth understanding of the S3 protocol and its associated features,
showcasing your technical prowess.
Strong multitasking skills and effective time management abilities.
Proficient English language skills (at least Intermediate level).
