Freelance Clinical Project manager
About the job
My client is a small biotech focused on developing Immuno-oncology products.
Reporting to the VP of Clinical Operations, the CPM is responsible for
managing clinical trials, including management of CROs & other vendors.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project
plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, to ensure
successful execution of clinical trials.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all clinical trials are conducted in compliance
with regulatory guidelines and maintain an up-to-date knowledge of applicable
regulations, such as ICH-GCP and FDA requirements.
Vendor Management: Select and manage external vendors, including clinical
research organizations (CROs) and other service providers, to ensure the
timely and high-quality execution of clinical trials.
Study Oversight: Provide leadership and guidance to study teams, including
monitoring clinical trial progress, resolving issues, and managing changes to
the study protocol.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues associated with clinical
trials and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the successful completion
of projects.
Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and expenses, making adjustments as
needed to ensure financial accountability.
Communication: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among
internal and external stakeholders, including investigators, site staff, and
study team members.
Data Management: Oversee data collection, management, and analysis activities
to ensure data integrity and quality.
Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to
ensure the highest standards of data collection and reporting.
Reporting: Generate and present regular project status reports to senior
management, providing updates on project progress, milestones, and potential
issues.
