Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager for Risk, Fraud, and
Compliance to lead our efforts in ensuring a secure and compliant operational
environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing risk
assessment, fraud prevention, and compliance activities, ensuring alignment
with industry regulations and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Risk Management:
• Develop, implement, and maintain an effective risk management framework.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate operational, financial, regulatory, and
reputational risks.
• Establish risk appetite and tolerance levels in collaboration with the
senior management team.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and update risk registers.
Fraud Prevention:
• Develop and manage a comprehensive fraud prevention program to detect and
prevent fraudulent activities.
• Stay updated on emerging fraud trends and modus operandi to proactively
adjust prevention strategies.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to continuously improve fraud
detection algorithms and systems.
Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry-
specific standards within the technology and financial services domain.
• Develop, maintain, and disseminate policies and procedures to ensure
compliance in day-to-day operations and business practices.
• Prepare and submit all requisite reports to the Central Bank and other
governmental authorities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Conduct internal and external audits to verify adherence to established
compliance standards.
• Conduct regular training sessions to educate staff about compliance policies
and cultivate a compliance-focused culture.
Incident Response:
• Develop and maintain an incident response plan to effectively manage and
mitigate any security incidents or breaches.
• Lead incident response efforts, ensuring timely and appropriate action is
taken to contain and remediate incidents.
• Conduct post-incident analysis to identify vulnerabilities and improve
incident response strategies.
Collaboration and Reporting:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align risk, fraud, and compliance
strategies with organizational goals.
• Prepare and present regular reports to the executive team and stakeholders,
highlighting key risk, fraud, and compliance metrics and initiatives.
• Engage with regulators and industry bodies to ensure a strong understanding
of compliance requirements and emerging trends.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Compliance,
or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Proven experience (3+ years) in risk management, fraud prevention, and
compliance in the financial or fintech industry.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, compliance standards, and
industry best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Professional certifications related to risk, fraud, and compliance (e.g.,
CRISC, CFE, CAMS) would be an advantage.
