Job Title: Equipment and Maintenance Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment and Maintenance Engineer to oversee
the maintenance and repair of our company's equipment and machinery. The ideal
candidate will have a strong technical background, hands-on experience with
troubleshooting and repairing various types of equipment, and a proactive
approach to preventive maintenance. The Equipment and Maintenance Engineer
will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production
processes and minimizing downtime due to equipment failures.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of
equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program to
ensure optimal equipment performance and longevity.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and recommend appropriate corrective
actions, including replacement of parts or components.
- Collaborate with production and operations teams to schedule maintenance
activities that minimize disruption to production schedules.
- Keep accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and replacement
parts inventory.
- Monitor equipment performance through data analysis and implement
continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging
technologies in equipment maintenance.
