Service Engineer
About the job
The Technical Services engineer is responsible for overseeing and coordinating
all technical and engineering works related to facility maintenance and
repairs. The role involves managing a diverse range of systems and services,
ensuring timely and quality maintenance, adherence to budget, and efficient
workflow. The Technical Services engineer will also be involved in asset
management, facility audits, and proposing budgets for equipment replacements.
Responsibilities:
Timely and Quality Maintenance: Ensure that all categorized services,
including production equipment, HVAC systems, refrigeration, electrical
distribution, plumbing networks, elevators, fire fighting systems, and more,
receive timely and high-quality maintenance and repairs.
Budget Management: Monitor and control expenses related to maintenance and
repairs, ensuring that all technical and engineering works are within the
approved budget. This includes tracking monthly FM costs, scheduled CAPEX
expenditures, approved projects, and overtime costs.
Workflow Management: Implement and maintain balanced workflows within the
team, ensuring that standard systems and procedures are followed. Handle
preventive and corrective maintenance requests and asset management processes
such as transfers, write-offs, and procurement.

Develop and maintain the day to day operations of the accounts in accordance
with the overall business strategy.
Communicate with the manager on accounting issues as well as customers and
suppliers payments.
Analysis of reports and presentation of Production Department Key Performance
Indicators.
Maintenance of all financial documentation pertaining to the Production
Operations within the FMIS system
Check entries of all delivery notes/delivery invoices from suppliers for
accuracy against purchase orders and entries on FMIS to ensure no
shortages/variances.
Prepare and report monthly P & L for each production area to manager.
