Senior Accountant
Location: Fahaheel, Kuwait

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to
join our dynamic team. As a Senior Accountant with a minimum of 10 years of
experience, you will play a vital role in managing the financial operations of
our organization. Your expertise will contribute to the growth and success of
our company.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger
entries, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial
statement preparation.
Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in accordance
with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and company policies.
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring
accuracy and adherence to reporting deadlines.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to provide
management with meaningful insights and recommendations for improvement.
Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance with financial
regulations and identify areas for process improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budget planning,
forecasting, and financial analysis for various projects.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders,
providing financial guidance and support as necessary.
Stay updated on accounting principles, industry trends, and regulatory changes
to ensure compliance and enhance financial practices within the organization.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff, fostering a
collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Requirements:
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA designation is
preferred.
A minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5
years in a senior-level role.
Good knowledge of financial reporting standards, and relevant accounting
software.
Proven experience in financial statement preparation, budgeting, forecasting,
and variance analysis.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
and provide actionable recommendations.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to
prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office suite (especially
Excel).
