To design Voice Core network services (roaming) and solutions through liaising
with different business domains to capture business requirements and customer
's needs, the role include leading and managing virtual technology teams
during the design and implementation of the new services and solutions,
leading solution assurance with other technology domains throughout delivery
phase and provide support for technology operations teams after new services
and solutions are transitioned to operations.
KPIs improvement & leading investigations to identify the RC behind degraded
KPIs will be a crucial part of this role
Key accountabilities and decision ownership**
* To lead the technical assessment and design of mobile network Voice Core CS and IMS solutions in a consistent way with the department Product Catalogue, strategy and architecture
* Capturing customer/business requirements and analysing those requirements from a technical feasibility point of view
* Leading and managing virtual technology teams, managing different stakeholders from business, technology, operators during solution design and implementation phases.
* Act as the main technical representative of the project team and competence area to all stakeholders, including the customer and Technology management.
Must have technical / professional qualifications**
* Bachelor degree in electronic/telecommunications engineering.
* Deep understanding of protocols, call flow and products in Voice Core CS and/or IMS mobile networks.
* Design Experienced in one or more of the following: SS7, Diameter, SIP, CS1+ and CAMEL
* Deep understanding of protocols and products in transport: transmission, IP.
* Strong understanding of project management skills (methodologies and tools) proven by a successful track record of project delivery.
* Deep understanding of Steering and OCR is a must. GRX is a plus
