We have an immediate opening for a Senior Medical Equipment Planner. This role
can be local to Charlotte, NC or remote. The Senior Medical Equipment Planner
role is a valued project team member who is responsible for successfully
developing and delivering the medical equipment plans as scoped for healthcare
capital projects. This role ensures client satisfaction throughout the
planning process in meeting clinical, operational and project objectives. This
ideal candidate will ensure all planning activities are performed, with
complete data accuracy, in a manner consistent with documented processes while
developing relationships through communication and leadership.


The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on challenging and
innovative healthcare projects.


Essential Responsibilities:
Collection of requirements from the project owner (investors, developers,
institutions, etc.)
Handle all Project management activities
Actively manage all project reporting and records keeping
Actively lead all construction, scheduling, commercial, procurement, risk,
Health and safety management activities conducted by the team.
lead all Procurement Activities including prequalification’s, tendering and
evaluation
Lead all Contracts management and Scope management activities.
Understands financial targets and objectives (P&L;) for the service line and
takes ownership for delivery of the agreed P&L; aligned to the annual Service
Line Business Plan in Collaboration with Head of Unit .
Assists Head of Unit in any needed information for weekly dashboard of
financial performance to be submitted to Head of Internal Operations in line
with senior management requirements.
With HS&E; Lead ensures that HS&E; standards are implemented, monitored and
reported within the team, reporting to the Head of Unit.
Ensuring project objectives are established, clearly defined, and are aligned
with the wider business objectives.
Identification and management of project and business risks and opportunities
as well as mitigation strategies to reduce exposure to the business.
Project/ Program Start-up and Mobilization (Client)
Following execution of the Contract, collaborates with Head of Unit, Project
team and relevant SMEs as required to establish project or program team to
ensure that early deliverables are met to client requirements.
Manages resources onboarding to new projects within ‎30 days of project
commencement.
Establish a schedule of Contract deliverables which will be agreed with all
project stakeholders to ensure compliance.
Produces the PMP and associated plans needed for project mobilisation
Responsible for the leadership, planning, and delivery of all Projects/
Programs under his/her P&L; responsibility in conjunction with Head of Unit.
Supports core business values of Teamwork, Ethics and Excellence.
Leads from the front on all matters of Health, Safety and Wellbeing.
Creates a culture of accountability and ownership of projects/program.
Empowers Project Managers to deliver successfully ensuring support is
available as and when required.
Promotes a client-centric culture and in collaboration with Head of Unit Egypt
and MEA monitors service delivery standards and client feedback with a view to
identifying any real or perceived shortfalls in service delivery.
Demonstrates strong diplomacy skills in managing complex stakeholders and
consultants.
Communicates and works closely with the project/program team to ensure
deliverables are understood, defined, time lined and measured, ensuring
resources are available for successful delivery in line with RFP budgets.
In conjunction with Head of Unit, and Projects teams; develops and maintains
an environment of trust, diversity, and inclusion.
Develops, implements, and maintain quality assurance protocols, ensuring
lessons learned are captured and relevant improvements implemented when needed
in line with the JLL QA/QC process.
Improves and grows the efficiency of delivery processes and procedures to
enhance and sustain
JLL’s internal capacity and continuously improve on service delivery.
Ensures service delivery activities and contractual deliverables are delivered
on time, to the highest quality and accuracy and within the defined budget.
Carries out regular internal project review meetings and audits, offering
advice and guidance as necessary to the project/program team.
Manages performance of the project/program team and deals effectively with
non-performance issues when needed in a timely manner.
Attends, reports, and presents at a monthly review meeting attended by Head of
Unit.
Assists and provide initiatives that the department is utilizing and
maximizing tech. solutions for delivery, feeding back to Head of Unit.
Demonstrates the behaviors and leadership in line with JLL core values,
adhering to the code of ethics in all areas of work delivery and instills this
into the whole team at every opportunity.
Ensures that all project/program team members maintain thorough, complete, and
accurate record of all project correspondence between client and
project/program team in a searchable and recoverable format to assist in
auditing the project record and in the event of any dispute arising.
Ensures that success of the project/ program, team or individual(s) is
celebrated using internal JLL comms and external social media platforms.
Clearly communicate to the team the importance of effective implementation of
the PMP and supporting plans, as well as carrying out periodic reviews to the
effectiveness of these documents.
Responsible for ensuring that the identified project and JLL core business
objectives have been achieved, ensuring recourse is taken where constraints
are encountered.
Responsible for ensuring that periodic lessons learned workshops are held and
participated in by all relevant staff, with feedback to Head of Unit.
Helps and Mentors new joiners to the team.
With Head of Unit engages in selection, interviewing and recruitment of
candidates.
Through selection and interviewing of candidates seeks to further the
Diversity and Inclusion agenda and targets, including Saudization and
Emiratization targets.
Drives accountability of the team leads to effectively manage their teams.
Ensures timely completion of all Performance Management process.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum ‎15 to ‎20 years of experience in project management
Understanding of all design and construction concepts/terminology
Masters Degree is preferred
PMP or CIOB accreditation is preferred.

Ability to multitask and communicate in high pressure situations
Excellent conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of all sectors construction projects
Knowledge of architectural design processes and documentation

Experience with Project Management Softwares.


Requirements


Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Architecture, MEP or equivalent.


‎15-‎20 years of relevant experience or related field


Basic accounting principles


Strong verbal and written communication skills


Ability to communicate with all levels of employees and clients


Ability to multitask and communicate in high pressure situations


Excellent conflict resolution and problem-solving skills


Knowledge of construction industry practices including hospital and clinic
procedures and departmental functions


Knowledge of architectural design processes and documentation


Ability to read and interpret architectural programming, design, scheduling
and specification documentation
