Role purpose:
Responsible for leading Vodafone Egypt Consumer Decision Support for Mobile
segments, manage wholesale area revenues & its related Costs (incoming,
interconnection, roaming & Visitors), providing finance business partnering &
financial evaluation for commercial offerings, new tariffs, new products
launch and long-term wholesale deals. including but not limited to:
* End to End financial ownership of planning cycles, budget preparation, development of detailed financials studies & support business decision making.
* Leading monthly performance analysis against budget through internal review meeting with finance leadership, leadership team and Exco team.
* Manage Business case process; Validate assumptions and provide recommendation to management to empower the decision-making process for commercial offers and investment proposals.

Financial Business Partnering:

o Run target-setting scenario models for Consumer business unit for short term
and long-term plans.
o Manage Business case process; Validate assumptions and provide

o Review, coordinating and developing bottom-up annual budget and forecasts
for Consumer business unit.
o Owner of the Consumer budgets and being the focal point with Group Finance
during budget review process and business cases.
o Support the Commercial director by preparing internal review packs and
explaining actual performance vs. plan.
o Monthly Presentation of the company financial/ non-financial KPIs results to
the CMO /Direct reports.
o Provide Executive team weekly insights (outlook) on the company 's overall
financial/ non-financial performance vs budget & previous months.
Budgets and Submissions:
o Organize and control the budgeting and forecasting process between
Commercial team and Finance functions.
o Lead the Preparation of the Budget/Long range plan for Consumer business
unit.
o Develop / forecast various non-financial KPIs & correlate it to financial
performance to support the financial budget.
o Provide Budget review reports explaining performance vs. plans and variance
drivers.
Financial Performance management:
o Represent the communication between Finance and Consumer business unit and
the related Sub functions.
o Post assessment for all commercial propositions and business cases to ensure
financial viability and assess profitability.
o Develop profitability model for each segment/ product to assess the overall
segment/product performance and guid the commercial team for opportunities or
needed corrective actions.
o Prepare weekly outlook for financial/non-financial KPIs, monitoring trade
trends, spotted and analyzed fluctuation from normal and highlight it to the
top management with full analysis.
o Prepare monthly closing reports for monthly internal and external review.
o Analyse financial/non-financial KPIs, helping to identify and deliver
opportunities and meet financial/operational challenges.

Must have technical / professional qualifications:
* The ability to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
* A solid understanding of financial statistics, trends and accounting principles
* Fully understand the telecommunication business as well as the vodafone way
* Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
* Fluent business English (verbal and written).
* 10+ years of relevant experience "preferably telecom" of which 3 years of people management.
* CMA - MBA is a plus.
