Group Holding Company LLC, based in Khartoum, Sudan, is an umbrella

transportation (a fleet of 600 trucks and trailers), commercial vehicle sales,

Role description
* Lead and expand our newly established retail business in Khartoum using your solid past experience as retailer in the FMCG - Food and Groceries business.
* Establish and manage one large distribution centre.
* Open new outlets - Hard discount Food & Grocery stores in Khartoum.
* Lead the following departments reporting directly to the GM;
* Retail Operations including stores
* Retail Procurement (local and international)
* Distribution
* Marketing
* Finance
* HR & Admin
* IT
* New Property Development
Desired Skills & Experience
* 15+ years managerial experience - proven track record
* At least 5 years experience in retail management - grocery goods
* Relevant post school qualification (Degree or diploma)
* International procurement
* Fluent in English
* Arabic will be an added advantage
* Past experience as expatriate in Middle East or North Africa region will be added advantage
* Experience in working with boards of directors providing professional and strategic advice.
* Understanding and comfortable with expatriate life style in a cultural diverse environment
* Exceptional people skills - working with staff from various countries and regions
