Payment Operations provide services for various payments products around the
globe, with offshore presence in China, India and Poland. Currently expanding
payment operations to Cairo, Cairo's operations will focus on MENA and Europe
Markets (but not restricted to), with language dependencies.
The Opportunity:
The Manager of Operations will be responsible for managing multiple teams
within Payments Business Service, providing support to Business stakeholders,
local management and operations teams.
What you 'll do:
* Lead, motivate and manage the team locally and remotely, handling contingencies, learning & development, backup, succession & progression planning, and hiring management.
* Ensure service delivery of processes as per the standards set out in PLAs and operate in a well-defined control environment
* Ensure PLA / Business MI structure to provide analysis, trends, outliers and issues to the Stakeholders
* Build and maintain Relationship with business partners across multiple countries and understanding their needs and plans
* Assist senior management in strategic planning and decisions
* Effectively communicate organization strategy and goals. Ensure people are clear about what and how they need to deliver; Take prompt actions to resolve and address under performance
* Provide input and recommendations to senior management on payment and development issues and enhancements
* Effectively manage operational risk on the process and provide expertise to stakeholders
* Drives excellence, consistency, and quality across the team.
* Leads by example, demonstrating core behaviors and values including leadership, teamwork, navigation and advocacy.
* Share best practice and support the manage, monitor, coach and develop leaders and others to ensure that they maximize their performance, meet the required standards, and continuously develop their capabilities and experience
Requirements
What you will need to succeed in the role:
* At least ‎2+ years of experience in managing teams in area of Operations, Customer Service or similar.
* French is a must, to be able to understand and support a conversation .
* Demonstrated team leadership qualities and proven track record of ability to manage diverse/multi-culture work environments with strong organization, time management and prioritization demand
* Excellent communication skills, presentation skills and interpersonal skills, combined with strong courageous integrity to challenge, ask the right questions, be persistent, give and receive feedback positively, collaborate effectively within own team, outside team and with stakeholders.
* Proven track of Business Partner stakeholder management
* Very good understanding of Operational Risk framework, internal controls and audit

* Payments Products knowledge will be an asset
* Additional language knowledge will also be an asset
* Ability to work under time pressure and stress
