Manager
About the Public Relations and Communications Manager role:
We are seeking a knowledgeable, creative and forward-thinking professional, to
oversee and implement all PR & Communications activities for the hotel.
Reporting to the Director of Public Relations, this role will work
collaboratively with the broader Marketing and Communications teams to develop
holistic, cross-channel campaigns, and identify and leverage opportunities
that support the hotel's central business strategies.
Job Descriptions
Public Relations Manager
* Assist with planning and implementing related media coverage and pr omotions.
* Leverage PR networks to pr ovide media with relevant hotel news, digital assets, and timely pitching opportunities.
* Conduct media and influencer pr operty tours and develop itineraries as needed.
* Manage PR /editorial tracking and create monthly recaps.
* Team up with F&B and Spa along with other relevant divisions and lead PR & Marketing meetings pertinent to pr omotions.
* Attend hotel pr omotional events as needed.
* Execute local & international PR meetings with hotel's solution partners
* Maintain excellent vendor relationships and supervise pr ojects, particularly graphics, pr inting, tracking ad schedules and others as needed.
* Perform other tasks or assignments as requested by a member of the management team.
* Create pr esentation materials for Sales & Catering teams, marketing and forecast pr esentations
* Work closely with Director of Marketing on annual marketing plan
Social Media and Digital
* Assist on creating curated content to ensure it amplifies key messages and tells a story consistent with our hotel and Four Seasons brand identity while managing and monitoring the hotel's pr esence on Social Media networks ( pr imarily Instagram, Facebook).
* To assist social media manager for guest and community engagement on relevant social media channels.
* Manage online and social reputation for Hotel and its Food & Beverage outlets, manage content and implementation for all (integrated) social media initiatives and web content with Director of Marketing, Sales and Revenue teams.
* Contribute regularly to Corporate social media initiatives and implement local social media partnerships for cross- pr omotional opportunities.
* Work closely with internal departments to resolve customer service issues in digital spaces and pr ovide clear social direction to each department at the Hotel, ensuring all conceptual and creative ideas meet objectives and timelines.
* Create and coordinate monthly (and as needed) email blasts to local email lists through our Four Seasons pr ograms with input and support from the Director of Marketing (LMLM).
* Lead the video and photo shoots at the hotel as well as create new, on-brand photography for social media posts as needed.
The Public Relations Manager will have:
* Experience in luxury travel and/or lifestyle PR
* Strong understanding of the luxury travel industry, with relevant media contacts in areas including travel, spa, food and drink and lifestyle
* Must be a strong administrator with excellent planning and organizational skills and the ability to juggle priorities
* Excellent writing skills and the ability to write in a range of different styles suited to various audiences and media channels
* Creative with the ability to develop and deliver engaging PR campaigns
* Proven expertise in PR and social media communications and the knowledge and ability to translate business objectives into creative assets and engaging content plus the use of social media as an engagement acquisition channel
* The ability to create newsworthy events, develop story ideas and follow through with pitch leads
* Knowledge of overall hotel operations desirable but not crucial
