Regional Sales Manager
What this position is about - Purpose:
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded sales professional
to manage a team of 82 Sales Professionals, Field Marketing & Brand
Ambassadors. We are now moving into a 'Commercialization phase' whereby the
incumbent will be responsible for both the Direct Sales Team as well as the
'Field Marketing' team to have a holistic operation of managing both sales,
distribution & visibility alongside activations to achieve our commercial
objectives in coordination with our marketing colleagues. The successful
candidate will also be responsible for managing and executing indirect
distribution leveraging sub-distributors & wholesalers to expand our
distribution footprint in line with our growing consumer demand.
The incumbent will be responsible for leading all the Sales Operations in
their respective area, with full ownership of total area performance, people
development, Share of Market growth, and customer base expansions. Supporting
the team by applying both Pull & Push programs to ensure effective
distribution and a healthy growing offtake trend.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate the performance facts
and figures to the team are crucial, to ensure a high-paced operation with a
positive mindset and forward momentum.
The incumbent will be working closely with the marketing team to identify
opportunities to activate relevant SKUs based on our consumer segmentation.
