Job Duties and Responsibilities:



  • To Counts, weighs, measures and sorts all incoming food, beverage, supplies and equipment.

  • Checks quantity received against purchase orders or daily market list.

  • Sees to it that items received are in accordance with specification by consulting the ordering department if necessary

  • Carries or loads goods on carts and delivers these to storerooms or requisitioning department.

  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of receiving area at all times

  • Performs other duties as may be assigned

  • Properly accounting for the location of incoming goods

  • Assuring no damaged items are sent or received

  • Comparing packing lists to company purchase orders and ensuring that the products in each delivery match the packing list

  • Updating the product inventory as products are received and added to the inventory
