KONE Middle East & Africa is embarking upon an exciting growth phase through
direct presence in 12 countries across the region and more than 60 distributor
markets. We have an exciting opening for Senior Communications Specialist to
join our Regional Marketing & Communications team based in Cairo, Egypt and
covering Middle East & Africa.
Reporting to the Regional Marketing & Communications Manager, your main area
of responsibility is developing ways to engage with stakeholders about KONE's
initiatives across multiple channels. You will act as a writer, project
manager, storyteller and communications consultant. You will support in
driving KONE business objectives, reputation management and brand building
through proactive communications, by using thought leadership themes and by
active collaboration between different teams.
What will you do?
* Plan, implement and distribute KONE story across all our channels in Middle East & Africa - internally and externally.
* Apply internal communication processes and practices to convey messages and engage employees within the region.
* Localize global marketing material and activities.
* Support KONE's strategy implementation and drive culture development in our organization via active communications.
* Develop different types of engaging communications activities and materials, in close collaboration with colleagues responsible for marketing and communications within different countries and clusters.
* Ensure KONE's brand guidelines are implemented and KONE key messages are made visible in all marketing material.
* Overall responsibility for PR & Media relations in the region.
* Co-operate and share best practices with other marketing professionals within KONE, actively strengthening KONE communications network.
* Manage relationships with external vendors and agencies (for example marketing & advertising agencies, PR agencies, graphic designers).
* Implement internal and external events according to global guidelines and utilize global concepts and tools.
* Actively build KONE brand and protect the organization reputation.
Are you the one ?
* Bachelor of Business Administration/Marketing or relevant
* 3+ years of relevant experience in areas such as marketing communications, advertising, brand management in agencies or corporates working with international brands
* Good understanding of modern customer centric marketing and digital marketing activities
* Excellent command of English & Arabic language. French is a big plus.
* Organized, detail oriented with the ability to collaborate, co-create and contribute to teamwork in multicultural environments
* Conceptual thinking & creativity with a strong commercial mindset
* Ability to obtain information, critique, edit and communicate effectively.
* Strong editorial and proof-reading skills.
