Bing Web Data and Index Quality team is looking for Data scientists and
software engineers in the areas of Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Natural
Language Processing. We develop next-generation products that change
experience for billions of users on the web and in apps. Our team empowers
intelligence for Web search, Content recommendation, Question answering,
Personal assistants, and impacts variety of products in Bing, Office, Skype,
and Windows.

The team works with cutting edge technologies in large-scale distributed
computing, IR, NLP, ML, DL. Our mission is to build the world's freshest,
richest, spam-free, and the most comprehensive and intelligent model of the
Web.

We are looking for data scientists and engineers that have strong technical
skills and are passionate about Web and Big Data. We have open positions from
junior to principal both in platform and machine learning/natural language
processing areas.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities are mapped to one of the following tasks:
* Apply machine learning and NLP techniques for better understanding document content quality, and structure
* Develop defensive models for fighting Spam, using both classic ML, and deep learning
* Create innovative ideas for ranking and data extraction in the areas of web search and question-answering
* Develop document processing workflows and components, innovate on agility, and performance optimization
* Use Big Data techniques for building Web Graph, relationship between web pages, and creating understanding of the Web trends.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:
* BS degree in Computer Science, Data Science or equivalent.
* ‎6+ years of software development experience in C++, C#, Java, Python or equivalent
Preferred qualifications:
* Experience and successful track of projects in Machine Learning, Information Retrieval, Deep Learning, and/or Natural Language Processing.
* Familiarity with large scale distributed systems, and map-reduce.
* Experience in one or more of major programming languages (C++, C#, Java), and one of the scripting languages (Python, Perl, etc.)
