You will be based in our Cairo, Egypt office as part of our Digital
Procurement Analytics (DPA) team.
You will work with McKinsey consulting teams serving our clients across the
Middle East. Our DPA is part of Middle East Client Capabilities Hub, and is
integrated with McKinsey's global Client Capabilities Network comprising 2000+
knowledge professionals who offer deep specialization across industries and
functions. Colleagues in our global Client Capabilities Networkdeliver
distinctive client impact through assets and expertise and are driven by a
culture of innovation.
You will work as a consultant on client engagements, driving work streams for
specific categories, often under guidance of other content experts.
In this role, you will spend a significant portion of your time (~60-70%) as
part of McKinsey consulting teams, often directly with clients to develop and
deploy digital procurement solutions. The remaining time (20-30%) will be
spent on developing cutting edge knowledge related to digital procurement
analytics.
You will own deliverables that provide analytics support and insights on
topics such as spend analysis, TCO /clean sheet costing, savings idea/lever
identification, sourcing strategy development, RFQ management and analysis,
online request for quotation (eRFXs), online auctions (eAuctions) and other
digital procurement related offerings.
You will handle large and complex sets of data to produce analytical solutions
such as predictive modelling, optimization and data visualization. You will
work in collaboration with other analytics teams to ensure timely and
effective methods of the extraction, assembly and transfer of broad and
complex data sets.
You will also support client proposals and other client development
activities.
