Quantity Surveyor (Rail)
Permanent contract
As support to Egis projects within Egypt, the Quantity Surveyor shall be
responsible for providing the required cost estimations for the on-going and
planned projects, including feasibility studies, on-site field studies, site
works supervision, and any other activities as needed ensuring full compliance
with the project(s) requirements and applicable codes and standards.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
* Prepare Bill of Quantities for all disciplines of a new metro project
* Prepare accurate cost estimates for various different configurations and scenarios for a new metro project
* Participate in the procurement process of Contractors for a new metro project
* Assist in the preparation of the Contract documents for contract award of a new metro project
* Assist in the procurement process for operation and maintenance contracts.
The candidate should have:
* University degree at minimum Bachelors level of a recognized Civil Engineering Faculty
* 5+ years of professional experience as Quantity Surveyor for Rail/Metro related projects
* Been involved in metro projects as quantity surveyor is a must.
* Excellent communication skills and fluent in English and Arabic.
* Determined to act in a responsible way in business activities as well as in social and environmental impact.
