Software Development Engineer

We are seeking highly motivated, responsible and self-starting Software
Development Engineer to join our forward thinking Design Solutions R
&D team under the ICVS division in Cairo, Egypt. This is role with a
truly global scope, and the opportunity to drive continuous improvement of one
our most important services.
Main Responsibilities
* Design, improve, implement, and release software that meets functionality, usability, reliability, performance, and supportability requirements.
* Interface with other software developers as needed to understand and manage interdependencies of project tasks, product and flow integration issues.
* Participate in reviews and/or inspections of, designs, specifications, and code.
* Participate in project planning and tracking, task investigation, work breakdown, and schedule estimation. Keep project stakeholders informed of project risks and status.
* Collaborate with Marketing & QA teams to understand and support customer needs and requirements.
* Write and maintain functional and design specification documents.
* Work with different software technologies to achieve business objectives.
Required skills, knowledge and experience
* B.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or Computer Science.
* ‎0-‎3 years of relevant professional experience.
* Hands-on experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) using C/C++.
* Very good knowledge of Software algorithms and data structures.
* Highly developed communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and share your knowledge with others.
* Very good command of English language.
* Experience in Qt framework, Agile development methodologies, Design Patterns, UML diagrams, Java, Eclipse plugins, Unix/Linux operating system environments is a plus!
* Solid knowledge of VHDL, Verilog and SystemVerilog hardware description languages.
