As a Tapster you will;
* Lead Tap 's expansion strategy in the country, including evaluation and recommendation of growth options based on market analysis.
* Drive business growth, with an emphasis on identifying and executing on opportunities to move the needle on customers and revenue.
* Lead the commercial go-to-market teams across the country to refine our go-to-market approach as a business leader in the country.
* Lead all cross-functional teams in Egypt with the goal of making payments quick, easy and secure for all our customers.
* Be the face of Tap in the country, including media engagements, conferences and industry forums, and in meetings with local clients and regulators.
* Act as the public speaker and public relations representative of the company in ways that strengthen Tap's profile.
* Play a key role in supporting major regulatory/policy efforts, and subsequently ensuring that Tap operates in full compliance with applicable local regulatory requirements.
* Oversee operations, credit controls, compliance and risk management of the organisation, working hand-in-hand with the regulators, as a thought-leader in the payments space.
* Lead company operations, growth strategy, financial and organisational management, external communications, marketing and sales efforts.
* Make high-quality decisions to advance the business, maintaining C and Ministerial level relationships with enterprises and governments alike, across the country.
* Enforce adherence to legal guidelines and in-house policies to maintain the company's legality and business ethics, and work closely with the central bank.
* Accelerate Tap's strategic partnerships, and stay on top of market trends and competitive dynamics.
* Maintain a deep knowledge of the FinTech markets and industry and keep close relationships with relevant stakeholders.
* Interact closely with the Board and be a part of the decision-making committee on future growth and development of the organisation.
* Build a world-class financial services technology hub.
* Delegate responsibilities and oversee the work of executives providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance.
* Other duties, as assigned based on the demands of the business and growth of the role.
What you bring to the party:
* 10+ years in a general management role, leading a company P &L.
* Exceptional experience in scaling tech companies ideally in the Payments, financial services or IT industry.
* Experience in business development, especially payments.
* Exceptional sales leadership qualities
* Solid network of potential prospects and partners.
* Tech-savvy, with a passion for Technology.
* Solid business acumen and awareness of financial factors.
* Exceptional communication, negotiation skills and techniques.
* Highly organised and able to prioritise shifting workloads and responsibilities effectively.
* Fluent in English and Arabic is essential
