Role: Head of HR, Middle East and North Africa
Location: Cairo, Egypt

The Head of HR will lead and shape HR activities in the Middle East and North
Africa region. The role holder will have a broad remit, working closely with
the HR Director MEA, the wider global HR team, managers and colleagues within
the MENA geography, providing a comprehensive and professional HR service
which champions our company values and achieving strategic people plans.


Part of the role scope will involve acting as a coach, mentor and facilitator
for line managers and providing HR advisory services to colleagues, ensuring
that the company follows best practice with people management and compliance
with legal requirements related to HR topics such as recruitment, onboarding,
performance management, employee relations, absence management and employee
engagement.


Core responsibilities of this role include to:
Oversee, provide and support line managers with change management projects
including restructures within the region.
Keep updated with legal developments and advise managers with compliance and
risk factors.
Drive a variety of people projects in conjunction with HR Business Partners to
support business objectives.
Facilitate regular communication between the HR team and business
stakeholders, developing and maintaining a genuine business partner
relationship.
Ensure all local company policies and procedures are updated in line with
current employment laws, ensuring that stakeholders are kept updated with
changes.
Promote Global HR policies and procedures.
Act as a main escalation point within the MENA region.
Develop and implement effective resourcing activities to help attract and
recruit candidates in cost effective and effective methods, taking overall
responsibility for end-to-end recruitment activities across Dubai, Saudi and
Jordan, also acting as an escalation point for recruiting in Egypt.
Manage and oversee payroll processes for employees across the MENA region,
ensuring accurate payroll data which will include starters, leavers,
promotions, and transfers.
Manage employee benefits administration.
Manage the annual salary planning, target setting and sales incentive
processes.
Support the rollout of global HRIS system processes for the region.
Ensure that HR records are maintained and updated with company policy and
legal requirements.
Introduce, support and develop performance and talent initiatives in
partnership with the Global Talent Development and Performance team.


Experience, skills and qualification requirements


Experience


Proven ‎5-‎10 years HR related experience.
Working knowledge of the Middle East and North Africa region with strong
knowledge of current/forthcoming local labour laws and relevant HR policies.
Experience of working in global, matrix and fast-paced environments.
Understanding of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) principles.
Change management experience and with employee relations processes.
Demonstrated people management experience with the ability to motivate and
develop colleagues.
Proven abilities with analysing and solving complex problems.


Skills/Knowledge:
Excellent communication skills, able to build relationships with stakeholders.
Proven abilities with analysing and solving problems.
Strong influencing skills, demonstrating a collaborative approach.
Highly organised and self-motivated, able to work individually and
autonomously as well as with diverse local and global teams.
Experience of using employee and recruitment systems.


Qualifications:
Educated to degree level.
