The team you 'll be part of


We are seeking a Support Engineer to join our care team based in
Cairo/Egypt


As a Support Engineer you will be responsible for planning and executing
technical tasks to support our customers.
In this role you will be working in a team, but you will be autonomously able
to solve the customer issues and accommodate their requests according to Nokia
Processes.

As part of our team, you will:



  • Plans and executes technical tasks requiring specialist skills in own professional area.

  • Works independently with the responsibility for solving customer request cases and reporting according to processes.

  • Identifies and solves technical problems.

  • Plan, design, test, execute, analyse, and report on process improvements to gain fastest troubleshooting.

  • Support areas by participating in emergency ‎24/‎7 duty.


Your skills and experience
You have:
* Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication,
* Knowledge and well understanding of core network elements 2G/3G/4G, IMS knowledge is additional
* Analytical troubleshooting skills
It would be nice if you also had:
* IP Networks Knowledge
* Knowledge with Protocol Analyzer Tools (Wireshark, Tektronics etc.) and internal message flow protocols.
* Unix/Linux knowledge
Candidates should possess following personal attributes
* Good team player
* Ability to work under pressure
* Willingness to continuous learning
* Ability to work independently
