Junior supply chain project leader

ATLANTIC Engineering Company for Energy Technology (ECET) in Cairo is a French
based international company producing ‎1.2 millions of water heaters and ‎500
‎000 towel-dryers every year. The combination of Groupe Atlantic's knowledge,
experience and management approach in hot water products and Egyptian
workforce made GROUPE ATLANTIC Egypt one of the Group's biggest factory (‎850
employees).

To support our development, we are looking for a Junior supply chain project
leader to strengthen our teams.

Mission
Upstream flows (procurement and planning) projects are at the heart of our
supply chain, operations and sales division. After a training period where you
'll discover our environment (process, tools, products, suppliers…) you'll
become progressively responsible for the development and successful
implementation of suitable strategies to optimize the supply chain and all
related projects.
Based in 10th of Ramadan, you'll be acting in a very dynamic and international
environment: HQ and Supply chain Direction in France, factories and customers
in Middle-east and in Europe, suppliers from all the world…
Occasional trips abroad to be planned.

As Project lead, your missions will be to:
* Define, secure and monitor the supply chain deliverables in the Product Generation Process (new products as well as engineering sustaining activities on existing products)
* Plan & mobilize resources of the planning & logistics project teams to fulfill the plans
* Develop and align supply and demand forecasts to support program deliverables
* Manage material availability balanced against customer service levels, inventory, quality, costs and risks
* Support the definition and continuous improvement of standard operating procedures
* Handle with the Supply Chain Manager some key projects within the global SC organization, particularly the implementation of a new ERP
Profile
Background and Qualifications:
* University degree in logistics, supply chain, engineering or related.
* ‎2 years maximum in a similar experience
* Excellent professional communication in English written and spoken
* French is a plus.

* Ability to manipulate data
* A strong desire to learn
* Customer oriented mindset
* Pugnacity, proactivity, results-driven with analytical skills and the desire to improve current processes and practices;
* Team player
* Knowledge of SAP would be a plus
