Business Research Associate
Market Research Analyst
* Collect data on consumers, competitors and market place and consolidate information into actionable items, reports and presentations
* Understand business objectives and design surveys to discover prospective customers' preferences
* Compile and analyze statistical data using modern and traditional methods to collect it
* Perform valid and reliable market research SWOT analysis
* Interpret data, formulate reports and make recommendations
* Use online market research and catalogue findings to databases
* Provide competitive analysis on various companies' market offerings, identify market trends, pricing/business models, sales and methods of operation
* Evaluate program methodology and key data to ensure that data on the releases are accurate and the angle of the release is correct
* Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties researches and implement best practice
* Secondary research - To perform thorough research on companies based in UAE and gather all data
* Primary research - Call subject companies and convince them to provide maximum information in order to perform due diligence
* Document Validation - Collect documents such as Audited Financial Statements and analyze the financial performance of the company
* Credit Analysis - Analyse the company based on financial and nonfinancial parameters
* Report Writing - Prepare business information/due diligence reports and assign credit rating
* Competency Requirements:
* Excellent calling and convincing skills
* Good understanding of financial statements and analysis
* Excellent oral & written communication and research skills
* Excellent MS Excel skills
* Good understanding of Legal Structures, corporate linkages, and company financials.
* Basic knowledge of the UAE market, economy, and the major industries in the country (would be an added advantage)
* Qualification and Experience:
* Bachelor's Degree with specialization in finance/ account/ business.
* Minimum 1 -2 years of experience in a similar industry
* Good understanding of financial/Business models (Manufacturing, Retail, Wholesale, and Service industries.
