Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is to lead the expansion of the category along with
the commercial team to ensure business growth and manage the product
promotions and position of brands. The Marketing Manager supports the sales
team with all tools and assets they need to raise brand awareness and increase
sales volumes. He/ She Builds strong and healthy brands to drive value &
volume, share and profit growth whilst acting as the brand guardian and
leading advocate in Egypt and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Region.


Duties and Responsibilities


Strategic Role
* Shapes the brand strategy and establishes alignment throughout the organization to ensure continuous brand advancement.
* Develops an annual brand plan and implements it through teams in order to fulfill yearly commercial and brand goals.
* Aligns with the Marketing Capability Manager of the Africa Team on updates related to strategy.
* Leads the innovation pipeline, communicates and plans for the launch of new products or the expansion of existing lines.
* Oversees the North African market and ensures guiding in the right direction in terms of global communications strategy.
* Assures that the return on investment portfolio and categories are maximized.
* Monitors performance and reports on findings and improvements to senior management.


Marketing Role
* Leads the consumer marketing activities and projects as well as sales research.
* Approves all directions of consumer campaigns.


CMI and Media
* Oversees the media strategy and daily media in collaboration with the Cluster Media Manager.
* Leads the digital media management of Egypt and oversees the MENA market.
* Oversees consumer research projects and traditional/digital media activities for MENA and Egypt.
* Ensures that resources are distributed adequately via effective media channels.
* Ensures, in collaboration with the cluster media manager, that studies are relevant, impactful, and align with the company's goals.
* Facilitates cost-cutting initiatives for consumer market intelligence and monitors performance by ensuring that CMI converts data into useful insights.


Leadership Role
* Leads and encourages subordinates by giving professional development coaching, distributing responsibilities, and providing them with empowering tools to help them thrive.
* Establishes defined objectives and key performance indicators, examines the latter, and adjusts course as needed.
* Coordinates with cross-functional project stakeholders alignment on priorities and plans.
* Manages Human Resources operations within the team such as recruiting, hiring, training, professional development, mentoring, and performance assessments.

Education & Experiences
Educational Background


Bachelor degree in Business Administration, preferrable in Marketing


Years of Experience


‎10 - ‎15 years of experience in Marketing
