About the role


HCV is one of the biggest, boldest bets at Uber. You will be joining a close-
knit team focused on a very complex problem and you will play a key role in
developing the global direction of HCV.
We are looking for a B2B Operation Specialist, HCV focused on supporting the
launch and scaling of partnerships for High Capacity Vehicles (HCV) globally.
This is a particularly exciting and rewarding role with huge opportunities but
also lots of challenges in light of complex product and market dynamics.


What you 'll do



  • Optimize and revamp existing business processes to improve operational efficiencies, quality, service, and profitability

  • Employ critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills to navigate relationships and partner conversations

  • Develop effective working relationships with multiple key stakeholders from cross-functional teams such as Operations, Product Management, Sales etc.

  • Create networks and routes for existing and new clients

  • Ensure all schedules are ingested on a weekly basis for all clients using Uber internal tools

  • Ensure all payments are made on time and reported accurately

  • Launch new clients and provide the product team with first-hand insights from the existing clients to come up with new features


What you 'll need



  • ‎3 years of experience in a strategy / operations / account management / sales operations or related role

  • Startup/all-hands-on-deck approach.

  • Data driven decision making mentality and sound business judgment through strong analytical thinking and experimentation

  • Demonstrated willingness to learn new things beyond the scope of work

  • Strong project management skills

  • Ability to take initiative and prioritize in a constantly-changing work environment

  • Excel and SQL knowledge and a passion for data needed

  • Direct experience in a similar role is a plus
