* Ensure that employees have proper safety training and are aware of hazards in their work environment.
* Perform inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
* Inform workers of potential hazards and implementing measures to mitigate risks.
* Plan safe working practices and making necessary changes.
* Keep up to date and ensure compliance with current health and safety legislation.
* Ensure that equipment is installed correctly/safely.
* Determine ways of reducing risks.
* Liaise with relevant authorities.
* Organize/attend health and safety meetings.
* Safely handle hazardous substances.
* Investigate/record incidents, accidents, complaints, and cases of ill health
* Draw-up safe operational procedures.
* Consult with management to develop policies and procedures for safety programs.
* Monitor compliance with safety regulations and providing training on safe work practices to employees.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, safety management or relevant field.
* 3-5 years of experience in HSE field.
* Fluent in English.
* Strong Problem Solving.
* Strong Risk Management.
* Strong Planning & analytical skills.
