Responsibilities
The purpose of this role is to execute key responsibilities to enable the
successful activation of communications strategies, tactics, and change
communications plans in support of assigned GBS locations. The desired
outcomes are to engage employees within GBS and raise awareness across PepsiCo
of GBS capabilities and strategic purpose.The candidate will also be
responsible for driving reputation of GBS by showcasing initiatives of
assigned location.
Qualifications
External communication :
* Conceptualize campaigns to be published on social media and create brief/storyboard for our employer brand.
* Work with design agencies to create a pipeline of social media posts according to EVP and create employer brand recall
* Coordinate for key external events and forums and prepare content/talking points (eg. NASSCOM & ET GCC Conclave, ET Leadership Council, SSON Award, CSR award nominations etc.)
* Create with GBS local general manager a thought leadership positioning and working with leaders on blogs/articles/posts for social media
Internal communication :
* Responsible for managing Internal Communication culture processes such as Town Halls, Newsletters, etc.
* Strategic, Leadership & Employee communication: Draft, Review content and get communication templates designed which are aligned to brand standards.
* Create a calendar of communication activities to engage employees by leveraging internal communication channels like email and Yammer for local activities and general manager
* Be a part of the culture and reputation network and tell the powerful GBS assigned location stories within PepsiCo global by working on success stories for myPepsiCoPartner with differentGBS leaders to review their respective communication and apply official GBS design templates as required
Corporate Social Responsibility:
* Identify local projects aligned to PepsiCo Foundation goals, coordinate with non-profit partners and counsel the CSR ERG members todrive the communication volunteering initiatives ; also leverage that for GBS local general manager reputation
* Partner with various internal stakeholders to drive Apprenticeship programs
* Partner with PepsiCo Foundation and coordinate on the communication initiatives funded by the Foundation
* Counsel the CSR Employee Resource Group and drive a culture of giving back by supporting the creation of a year-on-year calendar of volunteer activities and enhance employee volunteerism with a targeted approach
* CSR Communication: Lead the creation of impactful CSR communication by leveraging beneficiary stories and volunteer experiences to garner more participation
* Create with GBS local general manager a thought leadership positioning for social active leaders for positive impact
Crisis Communication:
* Partner with CMT team to manage crisis communication
* Customize and update Crisis Communications Playbook.
Global to local Initiatives
* Partner with global teams and stakeholders to work on projects like the NBI, GBS Global Town Hall, pep+ Expo, Reigniting The PepsiCo Way campaign etc. , creating repository of success stories, driving communication for GBS-wide events etc.
* Create Digital Assets like video, Gifs, animations and continue to explore new age forms of audio-visual communication to engage a predominantly millennial audience.
* Content Management: Create a repository of content and campaign templates that can be leveraged across the organization.
* Bachelor Degree (Communication, Business, HR, or related)
* Fluency in English, spoken and written, along with strong writing skills.
* 4/5 years internal communications experience with proven success managing internal communications and/or transformation or change initiatives
* Skilled at creating effective messaging
* Interpersonal and influencing skills
* Creative thinker and multi-media savvy
* Ability to work within a matrixed organization
* Experience working in a multi-cultural environment across multiple geographies and time zones.
* Experience in managing agency resources and budgets
* Flexibility to adapt and shift course in a changing business environment.
* Understanding of global shared services operations (desirable).
* Synthetic creativity experience (Ai cocreation with CharGPT,Dall-e or similar) (desirable)
