THE POSITION
We are hiring Head of Market Access for Northern Africa (NA) countries, based
in Cairo Egypt, reporting to the General Manager and Head of Human Pharma NA.
This position requires an expert in the field of Market Access, Pricing and
Health Economics. Interfaces are Medical, Marketing, Sales, Regulatory
Affairs, Compliance, Legal functions, Health Economics & Outcome Research.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
The role holder will be responsible to:
* Develop Market Access & Health Care Affairs tactical plan for strategic brands and priority Therapy Area at countries of responsibility
* Develop pro-active pricing and reimbursement strategies
* Identify partnership opportunities; Planning and ongoing implementation of Strategic partnerships, Propose and manage localization projects as needed
* Lead and develop key Accounts strategies, ensure execution by Mapping key stakeholders at key accounts/ governmental/ reimbursement bodies/private funders/3rd parties to secure and accelerate access to BI products
* Support cross functional teams in establishing IBP and ICP tactical plans
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Economics or Business Administration
* Master's degree in health economics and pharma economics is a plus
* 7-10 years of experience in market access within multinational pharmaceutical or related company within the relevant region
* Excellent people management experience
* Should have led and managed successful teams, as in previous leadership roles
* Experience and Track Record in Strategic Account Management & Enlisting
* Experience in tendering and contracting
* Strategic market access initiatives
* Previous experience in building excellent business relationship with key stakeholders
* Business fluent in English & French & Arabic in its oral and written form
