Head of Network Diagnostics

About this opportunity

We need an exceptional Product Development Manager to lead our Cloud and AI
Native Network Diagnostics product development team. The product enables
automatic network analysis to perform issue detection, classification, and
analysis of insights, with software features including performance diagnostics
and geolocated diagnostics. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in
Cloud and AI Native software development and leading development teams in
network analysis.
As the Product Development Manager, you will oversee software development,
ensuring scalability, reliability, and customer satisfaction. You report
directly to the Head of SA CNS Engineering and accountable for technology
evolution and LCM of the product, meeting roadmap goals and secure R &D
efficiency. Coaching, challenging, and developing individuals and teams is
essential to foster continuous improvement. As a line manager, you promote
Ericsson's values, ethics, and culture to ensure outstanding team performance.
The position is hosted in our Business Area BCSM CNS organization and the
primary sites for the position area Malaga, Cairo and Bangalore.

What you will do:

• Lead the development of our Cloud and AI Native network analysis product, including setting technical direction, overseeing software architecture and design, and driving software development processes.


• Actively contribute on the success of the entire CSW product portfolio development.


• Hire, manage, and mentor a team of software engineers, architects, and developers and provide guidance in software development practices and methodologies.


• Establish and maintain a software development culture that emphasizes collaboration, quality, and innovation.


• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal teams.


• Work closely with product management, sales, and marketing to define software requirements and ensure that products meet customer needs.


• Develop and maintain software development processes and practices, including coding standards, code reviews, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).


• Ensure software is scalable, reliable, and meets security and performance requirements while staying up to date with technology trends.


• Manage the resources and budget for the services delivery unit.

You will bring:**
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
* Experience with Cloud Native software development, including microservices, containerization and integration of ML models into SW products
* Knowledge in network analysis space, where understanding of performance diagnostics and geolocated diagnostics is preferable
* Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills
* Strong knowledge of software development practices, including coding standards, code reviews, and CI/CD.
