Business Context and Main Purpose of the Role

proposition, and delivering a delightful shopper and product experience. This
involves leading a robust process to ensure the mix is fit for the shopper,
the consumer, wins vs competition, and delivered at the right cost and price.
Reporting into the Personal Care R&D Manager, the PC Technical Project leader
is responsible for the landing of global and regional projects in the market.
Formulation projects that sustainably drive value for our consumers, our
brands, our business and the environment. Working in partnership with
functional partners (from engineering, procurement, quality), brand team,
design functions and external partners, the PC Technical Project leader
applies his/her formulation/process expertise to realize best practice
engineering and project management & Flawless execution.
Job Main Responsibilities:
Enable and Deliver the Formulation Project Program.
* Management and delivery of assigned Personal care category (Skin Cleansing, Oral & Deos ) initiatives. Develop a strategic vision for the project with team members as required, agree the project goal, objectives and milestones with the Project Leader and relevant stakeholders, and translate these into a technical project plan.
* Manage projects and technical activities (Innovations, Renovation, Line Extension and /or Cost Optimized projects) as a Technical Project Leader
* Plan, execute and validate product lab & plant trials in respective Unilever plants.
* Partner with Global & local R&D, Brand & SC teams to ensure flawless execution of all aspects of the assigned projects.
* Coordinate all technical workstreams to deliver projects, including process development, formulation, consumer insight & claims activities.
* Will develop a working knowledge of consumer habits and attitudes within the region.
* Partner with quality/regulatory teams to manage quality/regulatory and supply incidents.
* Ensure technical integrity of artwork details eg. claims, usage instructions, caution statements, ingredients in line with regulatory requirements
* Lead personal care cross category initiatives.
* Manage R&D costs for the projects (bought-in and capital)
* Proactive identification of technical risks and recommendations to mitigate risks
* Supporting Portfolio development.
Enable overall sustainability agenda in alignment with engineering and
procurement team, support and drive the Personal Care Category towards our
medium/long-term sustainability ambition.
* In collaboration with global Design teams, help facilitate and roll-out the Formulation sustainability program.
* Master Formulation functional requirements.
Consumer centric packaging engineering Shape, inform and participate in
consumer research work. In close collaboration with our internal and external
consumer insight departments and agencies.
* Connect packaging engineering, consumer insight and design.
General.
* To comply with the Unilever Code of Business Principles and all SHE and QA policies, including the support of product claims, risk management and environmental awareness;
* To interface with other internal and external functions in support of project delivery (e.g.: marketing, supply chain, supply management, packaging GDC, other RDC functions);
* To manage and deliver their own agreed workplan.
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree from Sciences background (like: Pharma / chemical engineers / chemistry / any relevant)
* Years of experience: from ‎3 to ‎5
* Preferred working experience in personnel care / in factory environment
* SAP knowledge is a great advantage.
* Strong Communication skills

* Adaptability with strong Time management to ensure managing different simultaneous projects.
