Overview
Main Purpose of the Role
* Align roadmap initiatives to IT's global strategic priorities spanning ‎3-‎5 years (i.e. the next S curve of initiatives)
* Identify, initiate, and drive new opportunities to address strategic translation gaps
* Identify, plan, and execute new TMO (transformation management office) programs
* Drive value realization by supporting KPI alignment through monitoring and proactively addressing gaps
* Build and own cross-functional relationships across the organization to support global IT strategy delivery
* Broker conversations across initiatives (i.e., functional teams and initiative owners) to promote synergies
* Provide thought leadership in technology/digital transformation to elevate organizational capabilities
* Identify, monitor and drive resolution of risk, issues and cross workstream dependencies
* Drive program management and create mitigation plans
* Engage with senior level members of the organization to review impacts to plan including confidential information such as organization design and financial considerations
Responsibilities

* Provide thought leadership in technology/digital transformation to elevate organizational capabilities
* Encourage adoption of initiatives by communicating the benefits and value of the TMO and contribute to its continuous improvement

* Drive alignment of roadmap initiatives to Global IT strategic priorities
* Identify, initiate, and drive new opportunities to address strategic translation gaps
* Identify, plan, and execute new TMO programs
* Prioritize features in the "Product Backlog" for high business value creation
* Value Realization Tracking
* Drive value realization by supporting KPI alignment through monitoring and proactively address gaps
* Creates and maintains 1O+ KPls (such as people, financial and program) key to gain visibility into progress against the IT strategic roadmap. This can include program SLAs such as time to market and KPls that include budget, people and program timelines.
* Uses 1O+ KPls drive changes into the strategic plan by working with key leaders such as IT ExCom to change the sequence of programs, look at opportunities to invest new technologies and providing visibility into the impact to the organization.
* Works with IT executives to define overall IT performance metrics, and measures, tracks and reports execution levels.
* Establishes a strong partnership with the key IT organizations (Enterprise Solutions, CTO, sector CIO orgs, Global Business Services and Corporate S&T) at PepsiCo to drive continuous improvement in IT's strategic roadmap
* Dependency Management
* Manage dependencies by identifying, monitoring, and driving resolution of risk, issues, and cross workstream dependencies
* Build and own cross-functional relationships across the organization to support Global IT strategy delivery
* Broker conversations across initiatives (i.e., functional teams and initiative owners) to promote synergies and dependency management
* Delivery Services
* Responsible for planning and onboarding new TMO and Global IT Strategic priority aligned initiatives
* Provides governance & oversight of Global IT aligned strategic initiatives to ensure program value is realized within approved time frame, scope and budget
* Provides guidance to Program Delivery team and initiative owners as required
* Champions strong IT governance in the project management framework and mentors project managers in its development and continuous improvement
* Work closely with the Change Enablement Center of Excellence to promote change best practices
* Directly supports and/or oversees the production of planning documents (Project Charter, CapEx, etc.) for quick strategic initiative approvals
* Validate all initiative documents and stakeholders are complete, accurate established early in the project life cycle
* Works with IT leaders to properly integrate and separate technologies and suppliers, ensuring success through all phases of project lifecycle.
* Works with IT executives to define overall IT performance metrics, and measures, tracks and reports execution levels.
* Responsible for the management of direct and indirect reports.
Qualifications
* Successful candidate must possess ‎15+ years of information technology experience and the ability to assess impact changes to process and technology.
* Must possess at least ‎10+ years of experience creating IT strategic roadmaps and plans and ‎10+ years working with Senior level IT roles, cross-functional teams including leading external consulting groups.
* ‎5+ years of experience evaluating current and emerging IT trends and ability to translate external benchmarks into proposed strategic initiatives.
Technical Skills
* Ability to understand IT and Business needs, questions / challenges others to think through the problems, improvement opportunities, solutions, and plans.
* Must possess a general understanding of the business and enterprise architecture and process planning frameworks.
* Solid understanding of IT organization functions, sectors, and strategic providers.
Non-Technical Skills
* Preferred candidate will have an MBA in Information Systems or equivalent certification(s).
* Strong project management skills in waterfall & agile frameworks
* Must possess a high degree of professional confidence and credibility with the presence and communication skills to represent IT related concepts effectively with senior level management
