Main duties
* Red palm weevil production and colony maintenance:
* Ensure the adult crosses necessary to obtain the required number weevil eggs and adults per week
* Adult food preparation
* Larvae food preparation: synthetic diet cooking and sugarcane processing
* Egg and 1st instar larvae collection
* Individual larvae transfer to fresh food until pupation
* Pupa collection and processing for adults
* Maintain laboratory equipment and inventory
* Collect and log rearing data
Minimum Qualification
