Job Description



  • Responsible for day-to-day accounts payable operations in all areas: PO and Non-PO invoice processing, payment holds, payment cycles, payment processing, expense reimbursements and vendor account reconciliations.

  • Conduct month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities.

  • Ensure accounts payable operations comply with statutory requirements, company policies, processes, procedures, internal controls, and finance objectives.

  • Oversee and provide guidance for the ongoing day-to-day activities and longer-term strategic direction of the department, including automation and process streamlining initiatives.

  • Develop supplier/vendor relationships to resolve payment issues quickly, create and execute a payment strategy, and ensure vendor/supplier alignment with the direction of the company.

  • Review all AP documents & accounting documents before and after the booking (Cost center, GL, etc.)

  • Daily check for all vendors (open items) not only balances to make sure that there are no debt balances in vendors' accounts

  • Follow up Advances for employees and suppliers on a daily basis till it's settled

  • Prepare payments upon due date after ensuring the deduction of WHT or advances is done and according to terms of payment.

  • Assist in audit requirements & needed clarifications.

Requirements**
* Bachelor 's degree in accounting field.
* ‎6+ years of procure-to-pay and continuous improvement/business analysis experience.
* Proficient in the use of ERP systems (SAP).
* Proficient in the use of analytic tools such as data gathering and analysis, spreadsheets, flow-charting, and process diagramming.
