International Schools Academic Director

Ajaluna Company oversees a network of schools that offer both national and
international sections. The Academic Director will be responsible for the
monitoring and improvement of student learning within the international
streams of these schools. The role has been recently established to ensure
unification of the company's goals and targets for around ‎12000 students.
You will be working closely with the CEO of Ajialuna and the school leaders,
producing recommendations of improvement that are based on strong collection
and analysis of data.

**Along with this, you will be expected to carry out the following

duties.**
* Ensure International Branches are in line with Cognia or any other external accreditation company 's standards, criteria, and requirements systematically throughout the company's International Schools.
* Supporting the International School Branches in articulating, sustaining, and enhancing Al-Forsan International Schools educational aims.
* Working with the academic team in, cooperation with the superintendents to update the International Schools' manual, policies, procedures, and schools' documentations.
* Working in partnership with the International Schools in the development and implementation of the School Strategic Plan, and the achievement of the strategic goals.
* Evaluates, assesses, and monitors the achievement of the goals established for the schools and learning outcomes and gives a feedback, suggested action plan and improvement strategies, as necessary.
* Assist in teachers' allocations and class schedules and subjects' distribution by monitoring the needed credit hours in each stage in cooperation with the academic team and the Schools' Superintendents.
* Create and ensure academic consistency and base alignment between branches, stages, and sections.
* Create a systematic process aimed at achieving academic excellence by developing greater means of supervision and accountability.
* Ensure implemented curriculum is based on high expectations and prepares learners for future success. Focusing on the quality of advanced programs and training implemented including SAT, Qudrat, Tahsili, AP courses, MAP Testing.
* Guide and support High School Principals in preparing the Grade ‎12 students for college/ university.
* Responsible to monitor, plan and follow up with school international recruitment procedures based on the needs.
* Arrange and steer school improvement committee to plan for the coming years and discuss the needed changes to ensure outstanding results and based on that to provide periodical reports.

Person Specification

• Should hold at least an MA in Education or similar


• Ability to work well with others and accept views.

Remuneration

The package includes competitive basic salary plus health insurance and air
tickets for the candidate and ‎3 dependents. The candidate also receives ‎40%
discount for children at all Ajialuna Schools.
