Senior Mechanical Engineer - Umluj/Amaala/Al- Ula
Responsibilities:
* Review, verify & approve contractor's / vendor's pre-qualification, method of statement, work
shop drawings, materials submittals, contractor's QA/QC & safety plans,
drawing & material
schedules for MEP services.
* All Mechanical services like HVAC system, Plumbing, fire protection systems. Services also
includes Building management system, district cooling, Irrigation, landscape,
AWAC system,
Water treatment plants, Swimming Pool, Water features & fountains, etc.
* Verify the accuracy of material quantity take-off, material approval status, and procurement
and delivery status by arranging procurement meeting.
* Prepare MEP meeting agenda, organize and prepare MEP meeting for Project kick off/ site
mobilization and work progress.
* Review & Implement of MEP changes, including corrective actions, preventive action for any
defects & constraints.
* Supervise and evaluate site work measurements & workmanship.
* Write correspondence to client and contactors as and when required and communicate with
client representatives.
* Control & Monitoring of managing MEP - Scope, Schedule & Anticipating potential threats-
Risk management. Generates MEP Project reports.
* Provide technical direction and on the job training to junior members of the team.
* Working on-site to resolve constructability issues and assisting with final inspection of
completed work.
* Responding to the technical queries/RFI's submitted by the contractors.
* Resolving problems and issues that arise during the construction phase.
* Review the materials proposed during design phase and propose alternative to improve the
quality, future maintenance, safety and cost effectiveness. Ensures that
materials received
meet specifications and established standards of quality.
* Ability to adapt to and solve problems around local regulations.
