Job/Position Summary:
The Program Lead - KEY acts as the deputy for the TKS Engagement Director and
supports the Director to develop strong partnerships and networks across the
KAUST landscape - between The KAUST School, the Academic divisions and
centers, and the wider community - to create and manage a sustainable, best-
in- class program of curricular and co-curricular activities for the young
students of the KAUST community, which capitalizes on the unique opportunities
and access to personnel that KAUST can offer.
The Program Lead - KEY will support the TKS Engagement Director to design,
develop, deliver and manage a range of programs for young students aligned
with KAUST's research mission, and the research being undertaken in our
divisions (CEMSE, BESE and PSE) and the associated Research Centers. They will
manage the team and deal with administrative, engagement and performance
matters, and build a high-performing and engaged team of Program Specialists.

Major* Responsibilities:
Programming
* Work with the TKS Engagement Director (and stakeholders across TKS and the University) to develop, design and deliver pilot programs that enhance and enrich the school student's journey, and capitalizes on the intellectual and other resources available at KAUST. Programs include:
* KAUST Tutoring Program (including recruiting, training and managing KAUST tutors);
* Specialized Learning Programs (to stretch gifted/talented students);
* Programs in music and the arts (in collaboration with TKS & Office of the Arts);
* College & University exam/application preparation;
* A range of short courses to develop life and soft skills in young students;
* KTSP and other STEM programs (working with KAUST faculty to develop the program and create curricular and co-curricular content);
* A range of after-school programming covering areas such as Coding, AI, Robotics and Automation.
* Manage the design, development, delivery (and continuous improvement) of programs such as tutoring, internships, mentoring, collaborative research projects, school holiday programming, short courses and lectures.
* Manage the Program Specialists who will co-ordinate and administer the programs (once 'live') on a daily basis.
**Evaluation & Measurement
* Develop appropriate objectives, KPIs and metrics for measuring the performance and success of all programs and initiatives designed, developed and delivered by the team.
* Undertake external research on an ongoing basis, to review what is being offered by other IB schools in terms of curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activity. Provide findings to the TKS Engagement Director and use the research to continuously review internal programs and propose new/additional ways to support the school students at KAUST.
Leadership*
* Build strong collaborative and productive relationships with KAUST and TKS leadership, senior colleagues across all University departments and divisions, and other internal and external stakeholders (within KAUST, nationally and globally).
* Team lead the Program Specialists in the team and manage administrative, engagement and performance matters, in order that the team achieves it goals and objectives.
* Manage the team and act as a coach and mentor to the Program Specialists.
* Champions and facilitates inter-departmental and cross-departmental collaboration and communication.
* Create and promote a positive, highly-engaged and high-performing work environment.

Qualifications & Experience:
* Degree (Masters preferred) in tutoring, coaching, or other related subject
* ‎6+ years of experience working with school students and/or in a diverse, international workplace and community
